Pillows should be cleaned every few months, while duvets only need a freshen up once or twice a year. To keep your bedding feeling fresh between washes, we recommend hanging your duvet and pillows outside on a sunny day; the sun’s UV rays work as a fabulous bacteria-buster and help to rid any stubborn yellow stains.
Each filling requires a slightly different laundry routine, so we’ve put together a Care Guide to help you keep your bedding looking and feeling fresh.
What tog duvet is best for a natural duvet?
The ideal tog rating for your natural duvet depends on several factors: how warm you sleep, your room's temperature, and the season.
A quick guide:
- Choose 2.5-4.5 tog for the summer months for a light, breathable duvet.
- For the in-between seasons, consider 7.5-10.5 togs.
- During winter, we recommend 13.5-15 tog for a warm, snug night's sleep.
